Artist Rejuvenating Art Initiative to Sustain and Empower

Artist Rejuvenating Arts Initiative to Sustain and Empower is an art initiative and program located in New York City, NY that embraces the visual and performing arts through the rejuvenation, reawakening and reconnection of the creative artist, their community and their artistic endeavors through the intermediaries of art history, artist wellness initiatives, and artistic expression. The artist expression may be presented via performance or visual arts to include photography, film, and spoken or written word. The program serves as an axillary to larger endeavors and collaborations and joins together creative artist within a safe and healthy space for the purpose of healing, growing, and experiencing bolder and brighter opportunities within the arts. The initiative and space will serve as an open area for diversity and access to arts for all backgrounds and social levels. ARAIS creates an artistic atmosphere for the sustainability of arts culture and for the support to community cohesion. As we know, a post pandemic climate left many artist in a position that may have placed their craft in hiatus or even having artist everting to another profession altogether. As the artist, arts spaces and venues reemerge and allow performances to come back to life an increase in artist participation, production and performance recovery is slow, and it is predicted to take several more years before a full recovery. ARAIS serves as a conduit and transitional experience to bring back life to the arts, arts history awareness, acknowledgement of the artist health and wellness needs for healing resources and connections. This initiative is to serve artist now and in their future endeavors and connections within their community. The principle purpose of ARAIS is to provide a safe, healing and cohesive envirionment and participation within communities and within a social aware spaces in which embraces artist. Historically artist have contributed individually to and synergistically with groups, organizations and communities to show support in and to the humanities.
